The mysterious Tomorrowland movie directed by Brad Bird and produced by Damon Lindelof with George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson cast, has a leading lady who plays a role presently trapped in CBS’ Under the Dome.

Britt Robertson (who has spent most of her time on Under the Dome trapped within a trap) will find freedom in a new role that THR is describing as “a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology who is launched on a journey to reclaim her future.”

Tomorrowland starring George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson is slated to hit theaters December 12th 2014.
