Can’t wait to see what’s next on American Horror Story: Coven? Don’t worry, you can get a sneak peek here, with the eye-popping TV spot below. This season has been terrific, and should be all the better for the guest star that showrunner Ryan Murphy announced via Twitter this morning:
Guess who’s visiting the Coven? The legendary Stevie Nicks!
— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) November 12, 2013
I can’t wait to see how she gets incorporated into the show. Will Lily Rabe‘s Misty Day finally get to meet her idol? Murphy told EW recently that he had talked to Nicks about using her name this season:
“When we got to this witch idea, I thought, if you’re Misty and you have grown up alone and you don’t know any other witches, there’s one witch you probably would know and that’s Stevie Nicks… So I called Stevie Nicks and first I said, ‘I want to use you in the show.’ But she was very resistant because from the beginning of her career people who are in the Wiccan community had given her a hard time thinking she was a witch and she got a lot of scary fan letters. She didn’t like the darkness of that, and I explained to her the part and she’s like, ‘Aw f—, let’s just do it. OK, I love it.’”
No word yet on when Nicks will appear, but it doesn’t look like it’s this week. That’s okay, it would seem like they have enough to deal with already:
