The CW had its TCA Press Tour day today, and president Mark Pedowitz had some very interesting things to say about Supernatural. In fact, we are happy to report that he had a lot of sunshine to blow in the direction of the Winchester boys. “The guys are great, the show is great. We’re big believers in the show.”

Not only was there “no question” about securing an eighth season for the show, but TVLine quotes Pedowitz as declaring that “I am a big Supernatural fan, so I hope it stays on as long as I’m still here.”

And what about Castiel (played by fan favorite Misha Collins)? He will be in a minimum of 8 episodes in the coming season.
