We told you back in May that Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon brought Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form on board to produce the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot with Galen Walker, Marina Norman and Scott Mednick.

Now, Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures has hired Iron Man writing duo Art Marcum and Matt Holloway to reimagine a new release of the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Paramount’s Adam Goodman is fast-tracking the film and wants a first draft by October so the studio can take it out to directors right away for a 2012 release.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is slated to hit theaters in 2012.
