Can’t keep a good hunter down is all I gotta say. A relation of good ‘ole Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be returning for several episodes in the upcoming season six of the CW’s “Supernatural”. It has been confirmed that Mitch Pileggi (“X-Files”), who played the Winchester’s dead grandfather, will be back.

Showrunner, Sera Gamble, is a “longtime fan of Mitch’s work”:

“…we all thought he did an amazing job the first time around, so we’re excited he was game to [return].”

Gamble hints that Pileggi’s storyline will reveal more of the Campbell side of Sam and Dean’s mother’s history. Intriguing, is it not?
