Fans at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego were treated to some test-footage from director Edgar Wright‘s (The World’s End) long awaited Ant-Man feature film. Thanks to fan’s enthusiastic reactions to that test-footage, we may be getting an Ant-Man movie sooner than we think.
A source for Latino-Review is reporting that the project is now being fast-tracked by Marvel Studios, and will begin production at Marvel’s London production facility once Thor: The Dark World is completed.
If scheduling works out with Wright, this could mean that Ant-Man could hit the big-screen as early as 2014, making it the studio’s third theatrical outing of the year, alongside Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.
No production or release dates have been officially announced for Ant-Man.
