Alice and her clones are going after the Umbrella Corporation for the fourth time. The fourth installment in the “Resident Evil” film franchise has been set to arrive in late next year.
The film will be titled “Resident Evil: Afterlife.”
Late last year, Paul W.S. Anderson revealed he was indeed writing another film. Capcom was getting involved. Everyone, as he said, was “excited.” Well, STYD learned from a studio insider that Sony is looking to get Resident Evil: Afterlife into theaters by September 17, 2010. That’s according to an internal memo circulating through the offices there.
Will Anderson direct? Who Knows? Will Milla Jovovich be back?
Considering Milla herself said to a crowd of paparrazi back in April that
“We’re going to start shooting at the end of the year.”
I think that’s a safe bet!
