The 13-episode model that has become so popular seems to be tailor-made for The CW‘s The 100. There hasn’t been a slow or seemingly-filler episode for the entire run, right up to this week’s season finale. And this season finale looks to be literally and figuratively explosive.

Deaths and more are coming, according to the featurette and TV spot below, along with a very different Season 2, which we’ll be seeing some time in the fall. If all goes according to the plan of those on the Ark, there will be a lot more adults on the ground…
