We’ve already given you two excellent things to watch in honor of the Doctor Who 50th anniversary, but we couldn’t leave you without the daily countdown pic. Yes, nine more days til the anniversary means a lovely pic of our favorite 9th Doctor, Christopher Eccleston.

Forgetting for a moment the bad grammar, we will also ignore the fact that BBC America calls it the “2013 edition” since a great number of the “technology” – if we even agree to call it that – was seen by viewers in 2012. Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor starring Matt Smith, David Tennant, Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper, Joanna Page, Jemma Redgrave and John Hurt will air November 23rd at 2:50pm Eastern on BBC America. BBC AMERICA will encore the special in primetime at 7:00pm ET with exclusive Inside Looks with Matt Smith and David Tennant.
