Of the new fall shows screened here so far – which unfortunately doesn’t include Arrow – 666 Park Avenue is easily the favorite. It is a pure joy to watch Terry O’Quinn in a part that allows him to flex his Mercurial, Duplicitous, and Evil acting muscles. We are fervently hoping the rest of the season is as tasty as the pilot.

Here’s a new trailer that includes footage you’ve likely seen before if you’ve been following our coverage, but with maybe a wee bit of new added in, followed by a clip that gives you a hint of the creepy weirdness to come.

The pilot has nowhere near the weirdness of last year’s American Horror Story, but you get the impression that there’s a quick tip of the hat to those of us who revel in the slightly uncomfortable. For this we say Thank You, and May We Please Have More Of That.
