Lucas Till to Bring His Own Brand of Havok to Werewolf Film WOLVES


Werewolves are still in the supernatural popularity contest with news of this project in the works. David Hayter, who wrote X-Men and X2, wrote the screenplay for and will make his directorial debut with a film called Wolves. A mutant connection of sorts occurs here at this latest casting news.

THR reports that Lucas Till, aka Alex Summers/ Havok in last year’s X-Men: First Class, in talks to star in this new werewolf movie. The film “centers on a young man (Till), who transforms into a werewolf and finds himself falsely accused of murdering his parents. He goes on the run, eventually arriving at a small town named Lupine Ridge that has a history of supernatural happenings. There he finds the secrets to his past.”

Steve Hoban (Haunter, Ginger Snaps) will be producing on behalf of Copperhead Entertainment with Benedict Carver (Tekken, Doomsday) representing Entertainment One executive producing.

Production is set to begin in mid September in Toronto.
