Sony apparently held a test screening for the big-screen adaptation of The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen last week. The screening went so well that the studio suits are already considering flipping on the green light for a sequel.
The LA Times reportedly had spies at the screening, where Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal was overheard discussing a possible sequel after seeing the results of the test screening. Their spies reported that the movie scored a 93 rating, meaning 93% of the audience either checked the “Excellent” or “Very Good” boxes on the rating cards, and 83% of the audience also said they would “definitely recommend” the movie to their friends.
The Green Hornet is slated to hit theaters on January 14th, 2011.
