“Clash of the Titans” director, Louis Leterrier is among the chosen few shortlisted to direct Marvel’s upcoming film adaptation, “The Avengers”. Why should Leterrier be the one to helm this project? Leterrier cites his experience with “Clash” to make “The Avengers” a success, saying:
“With ‘Avengers’ it would be a little different, because a lot of the cast would have been casted by different directors from other movies, but you can still bring everybody together. That’s what we did that was great on ‘Clash of the Titans’ — for the first three weeks, we brought everybody into a room and we workshopped the movie.”
“It all starts with the ensemble… the cast. It’s all about the cast. It’s all about the characters. You have to find the way to enter the movie through the cast.”
