Director Jon Favreau has says that Aussie rockers, AC/DC inspired a key scene in his upcoming sequel, Iron Man 2. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Favreau said that he was inspired while watching the group perform a live concert at The Forum.  The band also makes a cameo appearance in the film.

Favreau said,

“When I was watching AC/DC with my wife and my son and they were playing ‘Shoot To Thrill’ at the Forum, I thought, ‘You know this is how he (Tony Stark/Iron Man) should show up, right in the middle of this and take the armor off'”

“That’s the Tony Stark version of doing things.”
