Nathan Fillion is finally the Green Lantern, having been cast as Hal Jordan in the animated direct-to-DVD movie Green Lantern: Emerald Knights from Warner Premiere and DC Entertainment. Like Batman: Gotham Knights, the Emerald Knights dvd is an anthology and follows six stories of different members of the Green Lantern Corps that tie together to tell of the origin of the Green Lantern Corps. You might recognize a few of the other voices in the trailer as this animated film boasts an impressive voice cast in addition to the fanboy/girl dream of Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan. Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter), Kelly Hu (Vampire Diaries), Henry Rollins (Sons of Anarchy), Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy) and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (They Live) all have lent their voices to Emerald Knights.

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is executive produced by Bruce Timm and will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on June 7, 2011.
