Last month we told you that Nicolas Cage (Kick-Ass) was in talks to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze and Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Crank: High Voltage) were in early talks to direct Ghost Rider 2 (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance).
Now, thanks to a little chat Cage had with Craig Ferguson on the aptly named “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” we now know that Cage has definitely signed on for the sequel. After Ferguson presented cage with a model of a flaming skull Cage said, “I just made the deal today.” Cage also mentioned that Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor will in-fact be directing the film, so I guess those previous talks went well.
Craig Ferguson also took to his twitter account to mention the good news – saying,
“Nic Cage is awesome on the show tonight & had some great news for me. #flamingskullsFTW”
