Since the news came a few weeks ago that Fox had decided to migrate Fringe to Friday nights, fans and critics alike have worried about what this shift in the time-space continuum would mean for the future of the show. Usually, a move to Friday nights spells death for a series, but Fringe insists that it would be the one to change the television landscape of Friday nights.

Seriously, if you haven’t seen “Marionette” (pictured above), watch it now on Hulu or iTunes. Fringe has most delicately woven in the darkness of human desperation and Olivia’s internal struggle with the aftermath of coming home. “Marionette” is a golden episode.

Fringe’s move to Fridays will begin on January 21, 2011 (one week earlier than previously reported) at 9/8C. Let’s start calling Fridays Reanimation-Fridays, ok?
