Thank Doctor Who that this week is flying by. Can you believe it’s only four more days until the world premiere of the simulcast Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor? Me neither. But now that BBC America is broadcasting Doctor Who 24/7 for the week, except for that pesky daily break for BBC World News, of course it’s flying by. Darn that wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff that makes good things go by so quickly.
We have the latest countdown pic, Fourth Doctor Tom Baker reminding us that there are four days until the 50th anniversary of our favorite Time Lord show and the special episode broadcast in its honor. It also reminds us that we should be using the quite clever hashtag #SaveTheDay when discussing all things Who Anniversary.
Today’s 50th anniversary graphic is one of my favorites so far, and doesn’t cause my eyes to roll right out of my head like yesterday’s “kisses” graphic. Today’s lists out Top 11 Items Found in a Time Lord’s Pocket, with references to the episodes where the item is seen/mentioned/used. Excellent!
