We may or may not have gotten a tiny glimpse of footage, or at least audio, from Syfy‘s 12 Monkeys, the upcoming series adaptation of Terry Gilliam‘s 1995 film Twelve Monkeys, in the Syfy Originals trailer we posted last month. Now, happily, we have not only screenshots but a full-on trailer for the series.
The screenshots below feature Aaron Stanford, better known to some as Pyro from X-Men 2 and The Last Stand and computer whiz Birkhoff in Nikita, along with former Nikita co-star (he was eventual good guy Ryan Fletcher) Noah Bean, the always-beloved Charlie from Fringe, Kirk Acevedo, and Grimm guest star (and maybe more recognizable from not-one-of-our-shows-but-excellent Suits) Amanda Schull.
First, a reminder of the synopsis:
12 Monkeys, starring Aaron Stanford (Nikita, X-Men: The Last Stand, X2), Amanda Schull (Suits, Pretty Little Liars), Noah Bean (Nikita, Damages) and Kirk Acevedo (Fringe), follows the journey of a time traveler (Stanford) from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race.
