We told you recently that Daniel Craig had officially been cast as the lead character, Zeke Jackson and Olivia Wilde had been cast as Ella, a character who joins up with a mysterious gunslinger, Zeke Jackson in an unlikely uprising against an alien invasion, in the Jon Favreau directed “Cowboys And Aliens”.

Now the studio has set an official release date for the film, Cowboys and Aliens will hit theaters on July 29th, 2011.
