You’d think that they’d be done by now. How silly we were to think that the final piece of casting was in place back in the beginning of May. Not that we’re complaining; clearly they did an absolutely excellent job of casting American Horror Story Season 1, so we expect that they are doing the same for Season 2.

We told you back in March that Maroon 5 frontman, coach on The Voice Adam Levine had been cast as one half of a couple referred to as “the lovers.” We now have word of the other half: EW has reported that she will be played by Jenna Dewan, also sometimes known as Jenna Dewan Tatum, formerly of last year’s series The Playboy Club. As we told you Monday, production began last week, so other than guest appearances this may indeed be the last casting news we get for the new season of the show that WE CAN’T WAIT FOR.

American Horror Story Season 2, starring Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Chloë Sevigny, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Lizzie Brocheré, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos, Clea DuVall, and Jenna Dewan, will be premiering this fall on FX.
