After Adrian Pasdar‘s exit from “Heroes“, is Sendhil Ramamurthy next to go? Sendhil Ramamurthy’s character on “Heroes” has long been on a faltering path, but maybe now he has a way out of the show with his being cast in NBC’s comedic pilot “Rex Is Not Your Lawyer”. The new show is set to premiere in fall of 2010. Ramamurthy will be part of the regular cast, as an attorney and friend of the title character.
“Rex Is Not Your Lawyer” stars David Tennant (Doctor Who) as the title character, “a top Chicago litigator who begins suffering panic attacks and takes up coaching clients to represent themselves in court”, Abigail Spencer (Mad Men), Jane Curtin (3rd Rock From The Sun), and Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development).
The same production company is behind both shows for the same network so could this casting move foreshadow the end of “Heroes”? A source at the set of “Heroes” says:
“Everyone is expecting this to be the last season. The cast, the crew, everyone.”
Even though the ratings were better for this week’s episode, is it enough to save the fate of “Heroes”?
