Despite low ratings during air-times, DVR numbers have impressed the Fox network enough for them to announce that they will indeed air all 13 eps of this second season of Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse”.

The scheduling chief of Fox, Preston Beckman, states:

“We’re going to run all the episodes. We’re not saying we’re happy with those numbers, or accept them, but we don’t have to overreact. [The strong DVR rating is] one of the reasons that we brought ‘Dollhouse’ back; we knew it was DVR-friendly.  Hopefully we’ll see the overnight ratings increase from week to week. With some shows, you have to look at the bigger picture.”

No word yet on Fox ordering additional eps for a third season of “Dollhouse”.  It looks like the network will wait to see how this season is received.
