David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) has reportedly signed to pen the script for a new Superman movie entitled, The Man of Steel. Earlier this month, we brought you the story about Warner Bros asking Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan to guide the new Superman film, and Nolan has reportedly brought on frequent collaborator Goyer to write the superhero reboot.

According to the report, the movie will not be an origin story and Goyer’s script will feature classic Superman villains Lex Luthor and Brainiac. Superman Returns director Bryan Singer and star Brandon Routh are not expected to be involved in the project.
