David S. Goyer co-wrote Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and the forthcoming film, The Dark Knight Rises, along with director Zack Snyder’s hotly anticipated Superman reboot, Man of Steel, and he has solid geek cred in having previously co-written three Blade and two Ghost Rider films.

So, what is Goyer working on next? Deadline reports that David Linde and Tory Metzger‘s production comany Lava Bear Films is set to develop an as yet untitled supernatural thriller, based on an original idea by Goyer.

Goyer also developed the sci-fi drama, FlashForward, with Brannon Braga that sadly only lasted one season on ABC. A notable hiatus broke up the show’s momentum and ratings put the show on the bubble. Still, FlashForward captured the imagination of many and garnered much fan support throughout its short time on air. I am very much looking forward to what Goyer has dreamt up next!
