The Dark Horse iOS app launched on iTunes today along with the publisher’s digital store with great success. Even after months of development and testing fan enthusiasm was too much for servers and there have been sporadic service outages throughout the day.

The iOS app offers several free comics including Criminal Macabre, Abe Sapien: The Drowning, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite, Mass Effect: Redemption, and Joss Whedon’s Fray, as well as the list of others below:
