For starters, here is an interview that catches the cast of NBC’s “Chuck” is still very tight-lipped on what’s coming in Season 3, but they did give out some cryptic clues:
Show creator, Chris Fedak, addresses the will-they-or-won’t-they tension between Chuck and Sarah this season:
“One thing we promise is that the heart of the show is the relationship between Chuck and Sarah. We’re never going to promise that they’ll be together — where’s the fun in that?”
On Adam Baldwin‘s character, John Casey, Fedak said Casey’s place will still be around the Buy More:
“It’s a lot of fun to have him in that world as the straight man, and it’s great to get his perspective on the Buy More madness. John Casey’s been out there for 20 years saving America, now he realizes just what he’s been saving. So it’s tough for him. But this year we’d like to get him in the Buy More even more.”
Season three will also fill in more of the backgrounds of Casey and Sarah’s spy careers pre-Chuck, have Morgan and Chuck as roommates, and a change in dynamic between Chuck and his handlers, Sarah and Casey, since he is now the new-and-improved-Chuck-with-kung-fu-grip. The involvement of sponsor, Subway, is still unknown as of yet. The title of the season premiere episode is to be “Chuck vs. the Pink Slip”, written by Chris Fedak and Matt Miller.
Chuck is scheduled to return in March.
