Blair Butler from G4’s Fresh Ink, recently had a chat with comic book legend Brian Michael Bendis at Golden Apple Comics in Hollywood.

In Part 1, they chat about the evolution of Spiderwoman, from The Avengers to his upcoming print and motion comic editions, which leads to a spirited discussion of comics going digital via Kindle, iTunes, and Apple or Microsoft tablets. What does the future hold for comic books, and does going digital represent the death of print media?

In Part 2, Blair and Brian chat about the evolution of intellectual property and creator-owned books. They get into the history of bringing Bendis’ acclaimed comic Torso to the big screen, and he gives insight into consulting on the Iron Man movie and being part of the Marvel creative committee.
