Sony has released five new posters from the upcoming sci-fi alien flick, Battle: Los Angeles, which were originally featured on the convention floor at Comic-Con. Each poster sets up the back-story about aliens having visited Earth over the years to plan their attack and pushes the reportthreats.org viral website that Sony set up for the film. Official Plot Synopsis:
When unknown forces suddenly and mercilessly attack the City of Angels out of nowhere, it’s up to a local Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and a new platoon of unseasoned soldiers to meet the threat. As the invasion hits the streets of LA, these Marines become our first and last line of defense in an intense battle against an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered before.
The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman (The Killing Room) and stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Lucas Till, Michael Peña, Noel Fisher, Joey King and Taylor Handley.
Battle: Los Angeles is slated to hit theaters on March 11th, 2011
