The Winchesters will be back for season seven. The CW has renewed Supernatural and boy is it good to have Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) fighting the good fight for another season. The show has helped to draw viewers to the CW on the tough Friday night for a one-two punch of the finale season of Smallville and fan fave Supernatural back to back this season.

The CW has also announced the renewal of The Vampire Diaries for a third season, the most watched show on the network overall as well as by females 18-34. Two guesses why… another set of brothers setting the screen on fire here as well! Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) have sure made a home for themselves on the CW.
