APOLLO 18 Is Go For Launch On a New Release Date

Timur Bekmambetov‘s (The Darkest Hour) latest production, entitled Apollo 18 to be directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego (La piel azul) was originally slated to be released on March 4th, 2011. Now, The Weinstein Company has pushed back the release date for the film to April 22nd, 2011.

The film revolves around recently “found footage” shot by the crew of an abandoned moon mission that NASA claims never took place in the early 1970s. The lost footage reveals the existence of alien life and explains why NASA has hidden the evidence for all of these years.

Apollo 18 is slated to hit theaters on April 22nd, 2011.
