Tonight’s episode of Arrow is a rebroadcast of “Vertigo”, the episode with our beloved Seth Gabel playing the bad guy in an exceptionally crazy and watchable way. No, sorry kids, he is not the guest star who’ll be a season regular next year – hopefully his pilot Gothica will be picked up to series and we’ll be seeing him there on a weekly basis.
We’ve only seen this guest star in one episode so far this season, but he left an impression – especially on Oliver’s sister Thea, whose bag he stole. Yes, Colton Haynes, formerly our favorite bad boy and sometimes kanima Jackson on Teen Wolf, now juvenile delinquent Roy Harper on The CW show, will be promoted to series regular on Arrow next season, according to Zap2It.
It’s not clear if Roy will stay a bad boy or be converted, and as fans of the comics will tell you, the show often goes in entirely different directions than the comic so that isn’t necessarily a help. Stephen Amell did, however, post this pic on Instagram:
The question is, did Oliver beat up Roy, or did someone else? And do they have a scene together or do they just hang out together between shots? Ah well, I guess we’ll need to wait and see. And we have a lot to look forward to, starting next week, according to Mr. Amell, who tweeted this yesterday:
We’re 1 week away from a 7 episode stretch that’ll end our season and – quite possibly – melt your brain. Preparations may commence. #Arrow
