This could go so many different ways. Here’s what we know so far: ABC has ordered an unnamed pilot about a family who moves into a lovely and “very desirable” gated community, only to find that all the other residents are cleverly disguised aliens.

It’s a half-hour comedy, written by Dan Fogelman, who wrote Crazy, Stupid, Love and, hmm, Cars. It’s set to be directed by Chris Coch who has directed a number of comedies lately, including Modern Family, The Middle and Cougar Town. It will be produced by ABC Studios.
