Even though ABC has been calling “Eastwick” a “quiet success”, the freshman show has been circling the drain for some time, consistently coming in last in ratings for its timeslot.

The curse of Lindsey Price strikes again! This move by the network comes as no surprise as the rating numbers came rolling in.  This show was cute and had its light charm, but it just couldn’t survive.  “Eastwick” will play out its initial order of 13 eps though so you’ll have more “Eastwick” to watch yet.

You fans of the show shouldn’t give up hope though.  I noticed a fan petition to save the show being shopped around before the proverbial ax fell.  Fan movements have done wonders for shows like “Chuck”!  Keep showing your support and hope that the network will at least consider other shows of the same genre.
