All right. Get out your calendars. I hope you were using pencil when you wrote down dates for Disney releases cause we have some changes and additions, courtesy of a Walt Disney Pictures press release. Let’s start with the shiny new release dates!
Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 is slated for July 10, 2015
Muppets 2 will be released March 21, 2014
1952 will be in in theaters December 19, 2014 in 3D (but see below)
The rest are either getting new dates or having their release updated to include 3D, so just make sure your calendar reflects the following.
Maleficent has moved to July 2, 2014 and it will be released in 3D
Captain America: The Winter Soldier keeps its April 4, 2014 release and adds the 3D.
Guardians Of The Galaxy also keeps its August 1, 2014 date and adds 3D to its release.
While they all seem pretty self explanatory. 1952 remains mysterious and the only things we know about it are that Damon Lindelof (LOST) is writing it, Brad Bird (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) is directing it and George Clooney is starring in it. That’s it. Oh, and one more thing:
Just to be absolutely clear.1952, directed by Brad Bird, will NOT be in 3D.We are, however, considering Smell-O-Vision.
