Of COURSE there is more American Horror Story Season 2 casting news, since we said last week that we were probably done with that. It must be pointed out, however, that we allowed that we might be learning of additional guest stars, and that’s just what this is; our casting news du jour is about a two-episode guest star.
And we like her! It’s Franka Potente, the German woman in the Matt Damon Bourne movies and in the upcoming series Copper. She’ll be playing one of the patients (inmates?) at the east coast asylum for the criminally insane, according to TVLine.
We also told you that shooting has begun on Season 2, and now here’s proof; showrunner Ryan Murphy – who is now on Twitter! – tweeted this pic:
AHS exclusive: Two of our stars who started shooting today – – the multi-talented
@adamlevine and Bloody Face! twitter.com/MrRPMurphy/sta…— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) July 30, 2012
Bloody Face is one of the stars? On your mark, get set, ANALYZE!
And thanks so much for the pic, Mr. Murphy, MAY WE HAVE SOME MORE, PLEASE? Sorry, we’re just really eager to get going on this! Maybe it would help if we had A PREMIERE DATE. Please.
American Horror Story Season 2, starring Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Chloë Sevigny, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Lizzie Brocheré, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos, Clea DuVall, and Jenna Dewan, will be premiering this fall on FX.
