Paramount Pictures has hired John Glenn (Eagle Eye, Identity) to rewrite an untitled sci-fi project, previously referred to as Abducted, that the studio had acquired from John Heffernan (Snakes on a Plane) back in June.

While no details on the story have been released, Variety says the project has been described as Die Hard on an alien spaceship. The film will be produced by Cale Boyter and Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment who we recently reported would be producing Hyperdrive for Paramount, which was described as “a cross between The Fifth Element and 48 Hrs.”

No production or release dates have been announced for the project.
