Excellent, we’re finally getting close to the happiest time of the year – Comic Con International AND the return of Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Haven. Earlier this week we brought you the Warehouse 13 guest star list and now we’re happy to present the latest news from The Little Town With the Big Secret. Of course, we told you all about this last summer, but hey, we’ll take the new Syfy press release as a reason to talk about one of our favorite shows.

One of the guest stars hasn’t been a secret since she made a surprise appearance on the Comic Con stage with the Eurekans last summer (guest-moderated by Warehouse 13‘s Allison Scagliotti)…

which was soon followed by this:

Yes, the beautiful and talented geek queen Felicia Day (The Guild, Red) will be on the show for seven weeks(!) starting on July 18. And yes, the equally awesome Wil Wheaton will be returning as Dr. Parrish (you may recall him from that Eureka bowling tournament episode) for a seven week arc beginning July 25. We reported way back in August that there might be a love triangle between Dr. Parrish, Fargo (Neil Grayston) and Dr. Marten (Felicia Day‘s character), and Syfy has finally confirmed it. As Dr. Parrish and Fargo both have a striking number of unlikeable and irritating characteristics, hopefully Dr. Marten will bring out their better natures. As if.

And Syfy also “officially” announced this, which we also brought to you back in August:

Yes, Syfy has confirmed that the uber-geektastic Stan Lee will be making an appearance on the July 25 episode, though it is disappointingly referred to by Syfy as a “cameo.” What the heck? Ah well, hopefully they’ll wise up and make his a returning character as well! Hear us, oh mighty Syfy!

And just in case you haven’t yet marked your calendars, Eureka returns to Syfy on Monday, July 11 at 8/7c.
