Fringe co-executive producers, Monica Breen and Alison Schapker have reportedly been hired by director J.J. Abrams (Super 8) and Bad Robot Productions to do a rewrite on Abrams’ top-secret movie project for Paramount Pictures, currently under the working title Zanbato.

Deadline reports that the script involves Japanese history and robotics, and is described as “swashbuckling robots with swords”.
