Way back in April, we told you about Bryan Singer’s upcoming film, Jack The Giant Killer. While there has been prep on visual effects and the like, not much else has been going on with production because they apparently had some scrip issues.
Deadline is now reporting that Jack the Giant Killer has now been greenlit at New Line Cinema, and Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson may star in the film which tells a tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, and a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.
The original script was written by Darren Lemke and Mark Bomback, though a recent rewrite by Christopher McQuarrie is being credited for the project securing a green light.
