Back in June we brought you a report with story details for Michael Bay‘s forthcoming installment in the Transformers franchise. Bay said, “Transformers 3 delves into the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet’s most dangerous secrets.”
Now, Seibertron has revealed that Transformers 3 will be titled, Transformers 3: The Dark of The Moon. This was found via a set of tie-in novels that were available for pre-order (and have since, mysteriously vanished) on Amazon entitled, Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Secret of the Autobots, Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Autobots Betrayed!, and Transformers: The Dark of the Moon: Invasion of the Decepticons.
