Fans of the Whedonverse will get a double dose of chicks that kick ass with this news: Summer Glau (Knights of Badassdom, Dollhouse) and Eliza Dushku (The Perfect Moment, Dollhouse) both have landed guest starring roles on NBC’s Chuck and CBS’s Big Bang Theory respectively.
Glau is the latest actor cast to play the rotating character of CIA Agent codename Greta and will appear on Chuck’s eighth episode of this new season. This role has been played by Olivia Munn in the season premiere last week and will be played by Mr. Old Spice, Isaiah Mustafa tonight and by former WWE Diva, Stacy Keibler in upcoming episodes. Glau is a regular on NBC’s new superhero drama, The Cape, which will have a midseason premiere.
Dushku will guest star on Big Bang Theory as an FBI agent “who interviews Wolowitz’s (Simon Helberg) friends so that he can get a top-secret security clearance.” Look for her role in the seventh episode of this new season. Glau has also guest starred (as herself) on Big Bang.
