Director Tony Scott (Unstoppable) will reportedly lens the big-screen adaptation of the Mark Millar (Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall) and Steven McNiven comic, NEMESIS. The Marvel Icon graphic novel was acquired by 20th Century Fox, and will be produced by Tony and Ridley Scott‘s (Life in a Day) Scott Free Productions.
The graphic novel follows billionaire genius Matt Anderson, looking to exact revenge on those who killed his parents. Anderson is a villain who travels the globe killing off high-ranking police officials. The story follows Matt to Washington D.C., where he plots a campaign of terror against Blake Marrow, the police chief who captured, tortured, and killed his parents.
Nemesis is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
