Heads up, fans of the HBO show “True Blood”! Mark your calendars for June 13th for the season premiere of the show’s third season of twelve brand new episodes. Hot news is that Carrie Preston who plays Arlene, the red-headed waitress at Merlotte’s, will be guest starring on CBS’s “The Good Wife”. Preston will play Elsbeth Mann, “a member of Peter’s legal team, for multiple episodes”. It’s been speculated that because of this, Arlene may be killed off, but since Arlene does not feature prominently in the third book of the Sookie Stackhouse series, Preston may be able to pull off both roles at the same time.
Side factoid: Did you know that Carrie Preston is married to “Lost”s Michael Emerson? And that she played Benjamin Linus’ mother on the show?
