Most people who remember the original “V” television series in the eighties can recall the birth of Robin’s alien babies. ABC’s remake promises not to disappoint with its own version of that memorable moment. Valerie, played by Lourdes Benedicto, does not even know that she is carrying a hybrid baby or that her fiancé, Ryan, played by Morris Chestnut, is a Visitor.

According to executive producer Scott Rosenbaum, we will have “an idea of what’s been born “and an understanding of what could be coming” before the show breaks for the summer. Rosenbaum continues:

“The birth is going to be less interesting than the stories beforehand. What happens when the baby kicks? Or when Val gets her ultrasound?”

“V” returns on March 30th to ABC at 10/9pm C.
