Logan Lerman has insisted that his new movie character Percy Jackson has little in common with boy wizard Harry Potter. The 17-year-old actor has the lead role in forthcoming film Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which tells the story of a young boy who discovers he is the son of Greek god Poseidon.
In an interview, Lerman commented:
“I’m being compared to Daniel [Radcliffe] a lot these days. Honestly, my character doesn’t have much in common with Harry Potter, except that he’s an unlikely hero who’s been thrown into a huge situation.”
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, based on the novel by Rick Riordan, will make its box office debut next month.
