Since SDCC The CW has been dropping hints here and there about what we can expect in Season 2 of The Flash, including the Multiverse, new heroes, new villains and a more iconic look for our Scarlet Speedster. Today we get all those dots connected in an extended-cut trailer that gives us a clearer picture of what’s in store for Season 2. Check it out below:

The Shakedown:
Up until this point we assumed that Zoom would be some version of Eobard Thawne a.k.a. Reverse Flash, so it’s interesting to hear Jay Garrick refer to Zoom as an “unstoppable demon.” An entity of the Speed Force perhaps?
Also, Atom Smasher! That was a pretty cool shot of him using his molecular restructuring abilities, right? I was a little confused as to why AS was gunning for the Flash, as he is historically a superhero himself. Now we know that Zoom has him bent over a barrel.
“You wanna go home? Kill this guy for me!”
Flash Day! One of the best parts about the Flash mythology is how publicly adored he is in Central City. I mean the guy has his own MUSEUM! It’s nice to see the series touch more on this in Season 2. Maybe we’ll even get to see a grand opening of said museum.
Patty Spivot! Will she be a complicated love interest for Barry Allen, or could our show runners be angling for her to eventually become Hot Pursuit? Only time will tell!
