Way back in October 2013, when I attended a set tour for then-upcoming mutant epidemic series Helix, we were told that the first season would take place almost exclusively in the arctic lab complex. We were also told that this would be the case only for season 1. What we were shown, when the series premiered last January, was our new favorite show. So, Season 2… What?! What is it? Where will it be? What will happen?

While Syfy isn’t talking, yet, as of today we have a little more to go on, with the release of the first TV spot for the new season. Our new information includes a premiere month, January, though no date. Before today we only knew “winter 2015” and “13 episodes,” and that info came with the season 2 pickup back in March.
