Today was ABC‘s turn to make presentations about its fall 2014 lineup at the TCA Summer Press Tour, and with it came the announcement of its fall premiere dates. While we’re still waiting to hear from a few more channels (hello Syfy) this rounds out most of the fall schedule.
Forever, the new show about an immortal medical examiner and consultant to the NYPD, will be kicking off premiere week with two new episodes, with a special sneak preview on Monday, September 22, and a second, all-new episode on Tuesday, September 23, for its regular time period premiere.
We’d already been told that Marvel’s Agent Carter and fairy tale-ish musical Galavant will serve as bridge programming between the fall finales and winter premieres of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Once Upon a Time, so no date yet for those.
Extraordinarily creepy alien-invasion-via-children series The Whispers, starring Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) premieres “later in the 2014-15 season,” so likely winter or spring.
Below the ABC fall premiere dates I’ve reposted the synopsis and a clip as a reminder about newbie Forever, starring Ioan Gruffudd (scientist Reed Richards in the 2005 Fantastic Four).
Hopefully by now you’re already familiar with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Once Upon a Time, but if you didn’t check out spring 2014 newbie Resurrection, you should; it’s binge-worthy.
