While the search is still on for a new director for Ant-Man, Marvel has forged ahead and hired Scott Derrickson (The Day the Earth Stood Still; The Exorcism of Emily Rose) to direct Doctor Strange. Executive producers on the movie include of course Kevin Feige, plus Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Stan Lee and Stephen Broussard.
Variety broke the news that a deal was nearly complete, but the tweet from Derrickson provided excellent confirmation:

His next movie, Deliver Us From Evil, starring Eric Bana and Olivia Munn, premieres July 2.
No casting has yet been announced, Strange or otherwise, but now that the director is in place, we’ll hopefully be seeing some more news about this VERY highly anticipated addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
